Are your products made in the United States, if so where? Absolutely!! All of our products are handmade in Stafford, Virginia….just 40 miles from Washington DC.
Where can I buy your products? We EXCLUSIVELY sell our artisan goods directly through our online store, and select retailers and boutiques.
Do you make everything by hand? Yes! Everything at Khakuun is made by hand…no production machinery, just mixers and muscle.
Is everything you make really natural? We use only the finest natural and skin safe ingredients that we can find. There are absolutely no surfactants, detergents, or preservatives in any of our products. Some items found naturally may contain contaminants from the environment so a man made version is used for purity and safety.
Are your products vegan? Our products are not exclusively vegan, as we use beeswax in select items, however; all ingredients are listed on the product pages so you can check to determine what works best for you.
Do you use fragrance oils or essential oils? We use Both! Fragrance oils are often a combination of synthetically made perfume oils and essential oils. Most of the fragrance oils we use have a blend of essential oils. We love and understand the benefits of using essential oils, but typically most oils tend to evaporate when burning instead of giving off their therapeutic aromas. Our fragrance oils are skin safe, paraben & phthalate free.
Do you test on animals? Absolutely NO, Nope, No way! All of our products are tested on humans, namely me. We love all creatures, great and small, so it is very important to us to remain animal cruelty-free.
Where do you source your materials from? The majority of our suppliers and ingredients are purchased from the United States, and we do our research to make sure our ethics align with those we source from.
What is the shelf life of your products? Since our products contain natural ingredients, nor any unnatural preservatives, our products do have a shelf life, which is typically 12-24 months. If our products are kept out of direct sunlight and at room temperature or below, they will stay fresher longer. In the rare case that you purchase one of our products and find that it is not at its freshest point, please contact us so we can handle this on a case-by-case basis.
Can men and children use Khakuun products? Absolutely! Our products do not contain drying/abrasive ingredients or harsh chemicals and preservatives that will dry out, irritate and inflame the skin.
Can I return or exchange items that were purchased on sale? Sale items are Final Sale.
What if my items are received damaged? If you receive a defective/broken item, please notify us at hello@khakuun.co within 7 business days of delivery date.
How much does shipping cost? All orders, regardless of dollar amount or weight class, will include a flat-rate $8 shipping cost via USPS Priority Mail. Orders exceeding $75 ship for Free.
Do you Ship to International addresses? We ship within the US, and all Military Installations {APO/FPO/DPO} around the Globe. international shipping is not available otherwise.
How long does it take for me to get my order? Orders will begin processing for shipment within 24-36 hours of placement, Monday -Friday, excluding holidays. Transit times vary, and are out of our control, but the average transit time is 3-5 days
What about Sales Tax? Virginia Sales Tax will be charged to all orders shipped to a Virginia address.
What about the use of Coupon Codes? Our coupon codes are periodically send out via the monthly newsletter, homepage, or through our social media platforms. These codes are valid for a one time use per customer, and must meet all the purchase requirements stated to receive a discount or promotional offer. Coupon codes cannot be combined with additional sales or promotions.
