Handmade Craftsmanship

Our entire Khakuun™ product lines are handmade by our Veteran Owner, and occasional small team of family/friends in Stafford Virginia, located just down the road from Quantico Marine Base. We design, create, label, package, and mail every item with care, and a lil butterfly love from our home studio.

Each small batch of 6-12 products are always quality tested, to ensure freshness and consistency, before being shipped off to you via USPS.💜

Natural Soy Wax + Plant Based Butters & Oils + Herbs + Clays + Iron Oxide + Mica + Essential/Fragrance Oils + Pure Castille Soap + Vitamin E + Dried Fruit & Botanicals

 Our Products Do Not Contain: Phthalates, Artificial Dyes, Parabens, Petroleum, Mineral Oil, Silicones, and absolutely NO Animal Testing.


Activated Charcoal - Natural material like coconut shell, plant fibers, wood and coal. Detoxifies, cleanses, and gently exfoliates the skin without stripping natural oils.

Apricot Kernel Oil - Cold Pressed from the core of the apricot fruit. Enables your skin to maintain moisture, protects against UV rays, smooth wrinkles, stimulates collagen production and cell regeneration; helping to maintain the skins elasticity.

Argan Oil - High in Nutrients and Moisturizing. Pressed from the kernel of the fruit which the Argan tree yields through a labor intensive process. This tree is native to Morocco; known to live up to 200 yrs!   

Arrowroot Powder - Light/Fine natural starch, softens the skin, oil absorber, which gives the skin a silky feeling, and can also help dry blemishes, rashes, wounds or other sores.

Avocado Oil - Cold-pressed from the fruit of the avocado tree, avocado oil is an emollient, nourishing and moisturizing oil, loaded with beneficial vitamins and rich in Vitamins A & E

Baobab Oil - Pressed from the seeds of the baobab tree, baobab seed oil is non-comodogenic and highly emollient which absorbs readily into skin

Beeswax - While our ingredients are primarily plant-based with the exception of our foot balms which contain beeswax; included for it's humectant, emollient and softening properties

Bentonite Clay - Naturally mineral rich in calcium, magnesium and iron; used to remove impurities/oil on the skin, and toxins from the body

Calendula Extract/Petals - Natural wound healer, helps moisturize, and heal inflamed or irritated skin/scalp.

Castor Oil - Cold Pressed from the beans of the castor plant; has a number of medicinal, industrial, and pharmaceutical uses. Its moisturizing properties, which could help moisturize the skin; lubricate the hair shaft, increasing flexibility and decreasing the chance of breakage; and used in soapmaking to create moisturizing stable lather.

Chamomile - An ancient acne fighter, redness soother, and age reducer.

Cocoa Butter - A solid fat pressed from the seeds of the cocoa bean. An emollient, soothing and healing butter with natural antioxidants

Coconut Milk Powder - We use it regularly in our products for it's high fat content and it's hydrating benefits. Washing with coconut milk soap, as with all of our soaps, will cleanse the skin without stripping the natural oils from the skin

Coconut Oil - Pressed from the dried copra (coconut 'meat'). Coconut oil is a light, non-greasy, soothing and penetrating oil. When used in soapmaking it contributes to a moisturizing hard bar with bubbly lather.

Colorants - We use only natural skin-safe colorants like Clays, Mica & Iron Oxide

Cornflower Petals - A member of the daisy family, native to the middle east, known for its medicinal, cosmetic, and culinary properties. Used on direct skin to treat inflammation.

Emulsifying Wax - A vegetable-derived emulsifier

Essential Oils - We use only carefully sourced and skin-safe oils

Flavor & Fragrance Oils - We use only Skin-Safe and Paraben/Phthalate-free scents

Fragrance Oils - Our fragrance oils are 100% paraben/phthalate free, and soap/candle/skin safe.

Iron Oxide: Naturally occurring minerals, known to be skin safe, gentle, non-allergenic, and non-toxic; used in cosmetics, colored concretes, and paintings

Geranium EO - A natural antioxidant, astringent, and anti-inflammatory; native to South Africa, it actively boosts the skins health and natural glow by naturally reducing acne breakouts, skin irritations, and topical skin infections, and sooooo much more.

Grapeseed Oil - Rich in linoleic acid, a polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acid; which are the building blocks of healthy cells;  hydrate, moisturize, and soften skin.  

Green Tea - Anti-Inflammatory properties can help reduce skin irritation, redness, and swelling.

Jamaican Black Castor Oil - Roasted, Crushed and then slow-boiled over a fire; resulting in a pungent, thick and dark brown oil. Jamaican black castor oil is used to create a wide variety of natural remedies for general health and well-being. It’s most frequently an ingredient in topical solutions that can do everything from promoting healthy hair growth, moisturizing skin, to healing chapped lips.

Jojoba Oil - The liquid extracted from the seeds of the jojoba plant and technically a wax. Jojoba oil has similar properties to human sebum. Known for it's high mineral content and Vitamin E, it is also an antioxidant, antibacterial, non-comodogenic (non-clogging), non-toxic/non-allergenic oil

Kaolin Clay - Used in our facial masks and the mildest of all clays. Suitable for all skin types for cleansing and gentle exfoliation without stripping the skin of it's natural oils

Kukui Nut Oil - Pressed from the nuts of the Kukui nut tree aka Candlenut tree, the oil has been used by Hawaiians for centuries, a soothing and nourishing oil 

Lavender - Anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antimicrobial, and detoxifying…lavender soothes, help reduce redness, and can rapidly heal minor cuts, scars, and rashes.

Lye {Sodium Hydroxide} - A very caustic chemical compound used to make soap. ALL soaps are made with lye…no lye, no soap.

Macadamia Nut Oil - Pressed from the kernels of the Macadamia tree’s fruit, the resulting oil is a light weight yet naturally emollient oil  

Mango Butter - Extracted from sun-dried mango kernels this creamy butter is highly moisturizing and naturally emollient

Matcha: Rich source of Antioxidantsl; helps reduce inflammation, reduce acne, increase skin elasticity, and evens skin tone.

Oatmeal - A gentle exfoliant, and moisturizer; which can also soothe dry, itchy, irritated skin

Olive Oil - Cold pressed from the fruit of the olive tree, olive oil acts as a humectant and has soothing and regenerative qualities

Panthenol - Also known as Provitamin B5, which, when absorbed by the skin results in a conversion to Vitamin B5 (aka pantothenic acid) which is highly penetrative, regenerative, moisturizing, soothing and hydrating 

Preservatives - With the exception of our soap bars we do use preservatives in our products to prevent any harmful nasties!

Rose Petals - Antibacteriaal properties makes it an excellent source to soothe irritated and problematic skin

Rosehip Oil - Harvested from the seeds of rose bushes grown in Chile. A,C,E Vitamin rich, full of essential fatty acids, and antioxidants; sensitive skin soother, moisturizes, and treats damaged, aging, sagging skin; without feeling oily or heavy.

Safflower - Full of antioxidants, topical moisturizer, reduces acne, and acts as anti-inflammatory.

Salts - Epsom Salt, Pacific Sea Salt and Himalayan Pink Salt

Saponification -   In soap making process, oils/butters are combined with lye to produce solidified soap. The saponification process generally takes about 24 to 48 hours to complete; starting when the lye and butter/oils have been thoroughly mixed/poured into the mold… going from a liquid batter, to gel, then to a solid bar of soap. NO Lye exists after saponification, and the soap is left to air-dry {cure} for approximately four to six weeks; to allow for any excess water to evaporate out of the soap.

Shavegrass Leaf (Horsetail) - Is known to contain the mineral silica which improves blood circulation and strengthens both hair/nails, promoting healthier hair follicles, growth and healthy scalp; repairs damage of new and existing hair against breakage.  

Shea Butter (organic/refined) - Extracted from the fruit (nuts) of the shea tree, this wonderful butter has many benefits, among them, it is known to be a healing, moisturizing and nourishing butter with protective, soothing and regenerative properties

Sodium Hydroxide (Lye) - A necessary component in soapmaking

Soy Wax - A vegetable-derived emulsifier from the soy bean.

Stearic Acid - A vegetable-derived emulsifier and thickener

Stinging Nettle Leaf - Used for 100s of years; naturally calms and soothes inflammation, and reduces redness.. Like most plants, Nettle has the protective antioxidants that help reduce free radical damage to the skin; providing anti-aging benefits.

Sunflower Oil - Pressed from the seeds of the sunflower, this oil is known to be soothing, conditioning and moisturizing

Sweet Almond Oil - Used for centuries to help treat dry skin conditions like sun damage, eczema, and psoriasis. Redness reducer, improves complexion/skin tone, and reduces the appearance of stretch marks

Tocopherol (Vitamin E) - A form of Vit-E and antioxidant; which provides a protective moisture barrier, promotes skin healing, and lessens the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles

Turmeric - A native of South/Southeast Asia, and member of the ginger family; the benefits of turmeric are numerous. It increases blood flow, reduces swelling, improves eczema, psoriasis, acne, and gives the skin a natural brightening glow.
